Fees & Payment

During our initial phone consultation, we will discuss my fees and any specific needs that you have. I also offer a sliding scale rate. 

Payment

I accept cash or check. If you have an FSA/HSA card, I can help you determine how to apply those benefits towards therapy sessions. 

Insurance

I am an out-of-network provider and do not accept insurance directly. I do, however, provide the documentation necessary should you wish to submit for reimbursement from your insurance carrier.  Many people have out-of-network benefits and are pleased to discover that they are eligible for partial or full reimbursement for therapy. I am knowledgeable about the process of using your benefits and offer assistance in helping you obtain reimbursements. It is helpful to call your insurance provider in advance to determine your level of coverage.

Questions to ask your provider include:

• Do I have out of network benefits to see a licensed psychologist?

• If so, what percentage of sessions do you cover or what amount per session do you reimburse?

• Is there a session limit, and if so, in what time period?

• What is the deductible, and how much of the deductible have I met?

• What paperwork is required to submit claims for out-of-network reimbursement? How do I access the necessary form to submit for reimbursement?

• Where do I submit the paperwork for reimbursement?
